Roasted Peanuts
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the peanuts on the bottom oven shelf and bake for 10 minutes. Stir the peanuts, then continue baking for another 6 to 8 minutes, or until the skins become loose and the peanuts are lightly golden.
Allow the peanuts to cool for 20 to 30 minutes. Once cooled, the skins should easily pop off when the peanuts are squeezed between your fingers.
To remove the skins from an entire batch, place the roasted peanuts in a lidded bowl and shake them vigorously. The agitation will loosen most skins, leaving you to pick out the peanuts simply.
Roasted Almonds or Cashews
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Spread the raw almonds or cashews on a baking tray and place it on the bottom oven shelf.
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, stirring once or twice during cooking, until the nuts are lightly golden and fragrant.
Enjoy your roasted nuts! 😊
