FAQ - Kundalini Energy Yoga -  Level 3 (Intensive Kundalini Meditation)

How can this course benefit my daily life and personal growth?
Over just two days, with no other primary daily responsibilities, we are given a unique opportunity to enrich our meditation practices under the wise guidance of a Guru. Through these immersive experiences and energies, we tap into our inner strength and wisdom reservoirs, which subsequently unfold and support our personal development journey.

As a first-time participant, what can I expect from the course?
Self-discovery entails significant transformation and shifts in our mindset and values. As we delve into our inner selves, we undergo profound changes that can shape our perspectives and beliefs, leading to personal growth and a deeper understanding of who we truly are.

How do I prepare myself for the course?

If you have already practiced Kundalini meditation regularly daily, please continue. If you are not a regular practitioner, start practicing as soon as you register for the program. Practice meditation once or twice a day for 20 minutes, focusing on the forehead and Crown chakra. Ensure you have good rest and focus on yourself during this period. Additionally, kindly follow a vegetarian diet for at least one week before the course.

What's the course structure?
4 stages of concentration (Mooladara, Forehead eye, Crown Chakra, Backbrain meditation)  Cleansing of our subconscious mind  Self-analysis

What is the language in which the advanced course is given?
The course is mainly in English from Gurumahan. If the concepts are complex, trained instructors will translate them into English, which will be transcended during the practice.
A trained instructor may give Asanas & breathing sessions.

Should I bring anything specific for the workshop?

Kindly bring your own yoga mat, cushion, and water bottles. We recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day, as the room temperature may vary.

What's the dress code for the course?
Please wear comfortable, loose white T-shirts and white pants for the dress code. We kindly request that you avoid tights. If you prefer a t>, you can place your order here. Please pre-order (at least one week earlier), as last-minute orders may not be guaranteed at the venue.

Why is the white dress code compulsory?
White represents calmness, contains all colors within itself, and symbolizes inner light. Additionally, wearing white is pleasing to the eyes and helps reduce sensory distractions, an essential aspect of Yoga's practice of Pratyahara.

Should silence be followed in advanced courses, or can we speak with each other?
Most of the prana (vital life energy) is lost through speech. Silence preserves Prana and takes a person more profound.
Silence is not mandatory. Discussing or listening to co-practitioners also helps with meditation practices.
Practitioners are advised to hold/ practice a Silence from time to time
Group interactions are also encouraged, and many ideas and projects can spring up between different people
Social integration and exchange are also among the goals of organizing this residential course.

What will be the challenges during the course?
To align with the event schedule, we encourage you to wake up early and arrive at the venue on time.
We understand that sitting for extended periods can be challenging so we will provide breaks and opportunities for yogic relaxations during the sessions. Chairs will be available for your convenience, and you can also find a comfortable sitting position on your mat.

Should we diet during the retreat?
There is no strict diet requirement, but eating in the correct quantity is essential—neither too much nor too little. The idea is to have enough food to satisfy your hunger while maintaining a light stomach. The course only serves vegetarian food; there are no other dietary restrictions.

Why does Gurumahan give the advanced course and not other trainers?
Dimension of the practice is possible only for a master like a Guru to give.

Is it a serious course, or do we also have fun activities?
We are going to have serious fun. There will be both calmness sessions and also dynamic sessions.
