Community Kundalini Yoga classes for Adults

Join our Kundalini Yoga class, designed to accommodate individuals of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
The classes are led by certified instructors who are volunteers from the Universal Peace Foundation of North America, a non-profit organization dedicated to Kundalini Meditation and Yoga.
You can join the class at any time during the year, and within a couple of weeks, you will easily grasp the structure and flow of the sessions since each class is distinct.

▲ Yoga Nidra/relaxation techniques for stress relief

▲ Dhyana/Kundalini Meditation (specifically for Kundalini practitioners) to attain higher levels of bliss and peace

  2. Kindly bring your own yoga mat or beach towel.
  3. It is recommended to arrive 3 to 5 minutes earlier before the class begins.
  4. Please place your shoes and coat in the designated area
  5.  Keep your cell phone switched off during the class
  6.  Maintain an orderly seating arrangement, with women on the left side and men on the right side.
  7. Regular attendance enhances understanding of Kundalini Yoga, and though it brings positive changes, results require time.
  8. Questions will be addressed at the end of the class.
  9.  Kundalini Meditation (Chakra activation practices) will be offered upon request by practitioners after each class. If you are interested in learning Kundalini Meditation, please let the instructor know.

To Be Observed:

Practice asanas early in the morning or in the evenings on an empty stomach. If your practice session is scheduled during the day or evening, allow at least two to three hours to pass after your last meal.

To be Avoided:

Please avoid practicing if you have a fever, diarrhea, or any other acute condition. Asanas should not be performed during menstruation, and pregnant women should only practice a few simple asanas under expert guidance.

Respect your physical capabilities when doing asanas. Avoid pushing to fatigue. Initial mild discomfort is normal, but consistent practice will gradually reduce it.
