Whatever we do, we search for the end result of happiness. No matter how hard we try, happiness cannot be found through the outside world. One has to dive deep within to find the source of happiness That source is nothing but inner pure consciousness.

UPFNA is one of the very few organizations in the world guiding people to inner happiness through Kundalini yoga and meditation. Kundalini energy is nothing but one’s own pure consciousness energy.

UPFNA was incorporated formally as a non-profit organization in 2005, informally from 1998, with the view to teach yoga and meditation to the public. UPFNA The ultimate aim of the organization is to spread the universal peace through individual peace/inner peace by practicing the Kundalini Meditation. When an individual is peaceful within, the family is happy. When families are happier, the society, nation and gradually the whole world becomes peaceful and blissful. When an individual gains inner peace and persists in that state, one realizes that one is neither the gross body nor the subtle mind but is actually the inner pure bliss. This state is called enlightenment which frees one from the bondage of desires based on body and mind and attains true freedom within. The bliss that is experienced when one is in the state of pure consciousness is indescribable.

UPFNA conducts various programs for the benefit of an individual willing to be blissful within. The activities are shaped to take care of an individual right from the womb. Prenatal yoga for a healthy kid, kids yoga classes for the young kids (ages 6-14), Kundalini Yoga introductory classes and Yoga Dharana (Concentration technique) classes for the beginners, Yogasana classes for Adults, Free Yoga and Kundalini Meditation classes for the Adults on a weekly basis, Special Yoga and Meditation Workshops for beginners and advanced practitioners. In addition to the above classes UPFNA also conducts special yoga programs in Public Libraries, Schools and Hospitals and Groups. UPFNA also conducts corporate yoga workshops in the companies in Omaha . UPFNA also conducts special workshops in Desmoines and Lincoln.

The regular activities of UPFNA, Omaha include weekly Kundali yoga classes on Wednesday (6:00 to 7:15 PM) & Kundalini Meditation classes on Sunday (7.00 to 8:00 PM), Kids Yoga classes on Monday Wednesday & Friday.

UPFNA inherited some of its characteristics from UPF, India started by the Kundalini Yoga Meditation Guru Paranjothiyar in the 80’s. To spread inner peace, UPF is conducting various yoga and meditation programs all over the world. The Guru undergoes severe penance every year by simply meditating and spreading inner peace for 21 days without much food and water. Thousands of practitioners meditate along with him wherever they are during the month of December/January.
