Radha Golla: Radha, MS, RYT-500, RPYT started her yoga journey in India. Yoga was a vehicle to explore her mental and physical boundaries of limitations and pain. Yoga helped her to reach a state of mental calmness and peace which was new to her. She loved it and was inspired to learn Kundalini meditation.

She did her RYT-500 teacher training in Hatha yoga from Asana Andiappan College of Yoga & Research Centre, Chennai, India. Later on, she did teacher training in restorative yoga, prenatal yoga, and yoga nidra. She has also studied children’s yoga and postnatal yoga. She has over 600 hours of teaching experience. She currently teaches adult and children’s yoga.

She is trained as a Reiki Master in Usui Reiki lineage and as Okuden in Jikiden Reiki lineage and is currently working to become Shihan-Kaku or assistant teacher in Jikiden Reiki.

In her spare time, she loves to travel and do gardening. She loves seeing butterflies, bumblebees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators in her backyard.

She wants to make yoga accessible for people, irrespective of their physical fitness.

Shruthi Kumar: Shruthi has been a yoga student at the UPFNA Center in Omaha for the past 10 years. She took her 200-hour Teacher Training Certification Course in 2017 at the Universal Peace Foundation Center in Thirumoorthy Hills in India and has started the teaching chapter of her yoga journey. She has personally experienced the benefits of yoga and meditation in her school life and wants to help students around the world learn to practice meditation and yoga in their daily lives. Shruthi has taught yoga and meditation at Marian High School for the past two years to any high school student that wishes to participate. She has taught elementary school students, grades 1st through 3rd, at UPFNA for the past two years as well. Shruthi is a junior in high school, and the other activities she is involved in includes running on the Cross-Country and Track team, public speaking in Forensics/Speech, and also playing in the school orchestra. Shruthi turns to meditation and relaxation amidst her busy high school schedule and loves the calm and peace of mind that yoga and meditation bring her.
